We have had a lttle too much excitement the last couple of days. First we have a "Freak" snow storm dropping 6 inches of snow. Driving home was a real challenge but the landscape was beautiful. The next day my husband blacked out three times in a row. The last time he blacked out he hit his head and I found him in a pool of blood. We called 911 and the fire department showed up. He was transported to the hospital and was then admitted to the PCU (Preventive Care Unit). He spent the night in the hospital and was discharged tonight. That was tooo much excitement!
Here's to a quiet 2010!

Christmas in Newport, OR
This year we got a crazy idea of spending Christmas at the beach.... We found a house to rent, bought a small Christmas tree, packed up our clothes, piled into the car and we were off to our adventure.
The house was magnificent! Our first night we witnessed an awesome sunset...
The next morning we took a trip to Seal Rock to see the tide pools. Well, the tide pools were covered with sand so we could not see all the starfish, but we did see some Sea Anemones and some interesting sea birds. The best view was of the waves breaking over the rocks....
