Christmas in Newport, OR

This year we got a crazy idea of spending Christmas at the beach.... We found a house to rent, bought a small Christmas tree, packed up our clothes, piled into the car and we were off to our adventure.

The house was magnificent! Our first night we witnessed an awesome sunset...

The next morning we took a trip to Seal Rock to see the tide pools. Well, the tide pools were covered with sand so we could not see all the starfish, but we did see some Sea Anemones and some interesting sea birds. The best view was of the waves breaking over the rocks....

Christmas Day was our day to enjoy time together. We opened gifts, played games and enjoyed a delicious ham dinner. This was Sasha's first Christmas.  Later we were awe struck at how many stars we see in the night sky.
